The work is not brokered out
A lot of agencies sell the meeting and subcontract the making. The photographer is a freelancer they found last week, the site is built offshore, and the person you liked in the pitch is not involved after the deposit clears.
CWMedias runs the other way. One point of contact, and that contact is the one holding the camera, cutting the video, and writing the code. It means the schedule is smaller and the answers are faster, because there is no one to check with.
It also means being physically present. Springdale to Bentonville is a short drive. A reshoot of one product, a second pass at an interior because the light changed, a same-week fix to a page — those are phone calls here, not change orders.
