The job
Candy Khota'd is a family treats business in Northwest Arkansas — cake pops, cookies, kettle corn and more, sold online and at the Rogers Farmers Market. I designed and built their website, photographed the family behind the brand and shot the product photos for their shop.
The site takes real orders. Card payments go through a hosted checkout, sales tax and delivery fees are worked out in one place so the total on screen is the amount charged, and customers choose pickup, local delivery or shipping — with treats too delicate to ship limited to pickup or delivery automatically.
Most of the words on the site are the owners' own. Photographs from the brand shoot run on their home, Our Story and Ingredients pages, and the product photos fill the shop.
For social media, I made a 17-second vertical video: a room of their treats rendered in 3D, then a push into a laptop for a tour of the live site that ends on the Ask Khota helper answering a question.
The brand guidelines and the Khota character were supplied, and most of the words are the owners' own. The design, build, brand and product photography and 3D video are mine.

3D social video
A 17-second vertical video for social feeds, rendered in 3D in Blender: the treats float in a royal-blue room, then the camera pushes into a laptop for a tour of the live site. No sound, so it works in a muted feed.
Social media management
What the video shows: a point-of-view shot from behind a laptop in a 3D room with royal-blue walls, where giant cookies and cake pops float around the Candy Khota'd sign. The view swings across the treats, then pushes into the laptop, where a cursor tours the live site: the home page, the menu's photo grid, the Cake Pops page, adding Mellow Yellow to an order, and a question to the Ask Khota helper, “What should I get for a birthday party?”, whose answer fills the screen. No sound.
