The job
SMT Airsoft is an outdoor airsoft field in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with weekend games, rentals and refs on the field. The promo had to show a Saturday game the way players live it — the crews walking in, the walk out, the ref's countdown, the fight — and end on how to book.
I shot it on the Canon C50 at a Saturday game and edited it to a voice-over, with a cold open built from the ref's megaphone call. The captions are set large and timed to the voice so it works with the sound off, and it closes on an end card built around the field's logo.
Promo film
1:16, for the web and social. It opens cold on the ref's megaphone call and ends on the field's hours and web address.
