The job
Joyhouse Coffee sells coffee from Haiti and beyond and runs a cafe in Cave Springs. Their site was on Wix, and they asked for two things: online coffee buying that works, and orders landing on a screen in the shop that the baristas can pack from.
The new site does both. Customers pick a coffee, a grind and a size and pay through a hosted checkout, and an order only reaches the counter once the payment is confirmed. Behind a staff passcode, the counter screen moves each order from New to Packing to Ready, with a pack list for every item.
It is live on joyhousecoffee.com. The storefront and bag photographs are mine too.
Website
Shop, product, story and cafe pages, plus the in-shop order screen — not shown here, because it lists customers' orders.
- Six coffees with grind and size options, plus 5 lb bags and pods, paid through a hosted checkout.
- An in-shop order screen with New, Packing, Ready and Done columns and a pack list per item, behind a staff passcode.
- Orders reach the counter only after a signed payment confirmation arrives.
- Wholesale enquiries and restock requests saved to a staff dashboard.
- Order confirmation, pickup-ready and shipping emails sent automatically.
