The job

Heritage Valley Baking Co. is a cottage bakery run by two sisters, established in 2024. One makes the sourdough breads and sourdough bagels, the other the cinnamon rolls and cookies, and they sell at The Goshen Farmers Market on Thursdays. I designed and built their website and shot the footage on it.

Their bread is made with fresh-milled einkorn flour and a live sourdough starter. The market runs from 4:30 to 7 PM, and its 2026 season from May 14 to October 8. I filmed 43 clips in 4K on a Canon, in their kitchen and at their market table, and the photographs on the site are stills from that footage.

Website

Home, about, menu and contact pages, with the footage and stills from it on every one.

  • A market card that always shows the next market Thursday, rolls on to the following week after the 7 PM close, and switches to “2027 dates to come” once the season ends.
  • Every video is silent; the interview clips carry on-screen captions.
  • Each clip was checked for camera shake, and handheld shots were stabilized before going live.
  • The home page gives each moment of footage one place only.

Stills from the footage

Frames from the same 4K footage, each one used on the site: the sourdough starter going into the mixer, batter poured into flour, eggs separated by hand, yolks going into the mixer, butter, and the market table.
